PROFESSIONAL STAFF

Working Relationships utilises KinWay's tertiary qualified counselling team, predominantly Clinical Social Workers and Psychologists.

Working Relationships has clearly defined guidelines for confidentiality, professionalism and the provision of high quality non discriminatory service to its clients.

All staff are:

  • Supervised and must undertake ongoing training and professional development.
  • Adhere to the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPAA) Code of Ethics.
  • Are covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
  • Have access to a comprehensive network of consultants, agencies and practitioners to which clients can be referred if necessary. That is in addition to the wide variety of services available through Anglicare WA.

With over 20 years professional experience, Working Relationships staff are specialists in relationship counselling, education and training. In particular they are able to offer:

  • Specialist, first-hand knowledge of working environments from an employee and employer's perspective
  • Considerable experience in the provision of individual, couple, family and group counselling
  • Considerable experience in providing services to individuals from all occupational groups, particularly those from education, health, social service and welfare related backgrounds
  • Considerable experience in assisting clients to come to terms with organisational change and major life changes
  • Considerable experience in dealing with domestic violence, substance abuse and the impact of psychiatric problems.

Working Relationships, as part of KinWay Relationship Counselling, Education and Training, is approved by the Federal Department of Family and Community Services.

As a major provider of funded services, Anglicare WA is aware of the ever changing external environment. Our ability to provide an EAP is informed by our awareness of:

  • The impact of changes for staff brought about by processes such as downsizing, issues of equal opportunity, and the need for continuous quality improvement
  • The pressure on staff to be up to date with new developments, sophisticated IT expectations, increased emphasis on outcome measurements and the achievement of performance indicators.
